Eileen Beatrice (Reeves) Voight

June 23, 1928 — October 10, 2017

Eileen Beatrice Voight passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 10, 2017 at her home in Emigrant, Montana where she was cared for by her daughter Carol Miller. Eileen B. Voight was born on June 23, 1928 in La Junta, Colorado and raised in a farming community in Rocky Ford, Colorado during the Great Depression. She often spoke of a caf her parents owned called The Busy Bee Caf. She worked as a Phone Operator and a Legal Secretary. Eileen was the daughter of Bud and Mabel Reeves. She was united in marriage to James Eugene Voight (born November 15, 1926) on September 15, 1951 in New Mexico. They were married for 51 years and had seven children together. She was preceded in death by her husband James and her son Michael Voight. Michael is survived by a son named Michael Voight Jr. She is survived by her children Patricia E. Cornett (Grandchildren: Jason F Lines, Justin S Lines, Talitha J Rollins and Joseph A Cornett, Great Grandchildren: Elizabeth and Zoli Rollins, Drew, Carter, Audrey, Brandon, Elle, Dahila and Zinnia Lines), Susan K. Voight, Kathleen A Ching (Grandchildren: Edison Ching, Cohen Ching and Nancy Ching), Carol L. Miller (Grandchildren: Charity Passch, Anthony Delgado and Angela Robinson. Greatgrandchildren: July and Kayla Hardesty, Kennedy Passch, Isabella Robinson, Draken Hart, Matthew Rustad and Brooklynn Robinson), Eugene D Voight (Grandchildren: Nick Wyle, Nolan Voight) and Curtis J Voight. Many of her family members lived close, and brought great joy to her later years. Eileen loved good food and socializing. We will miss her because her attitude could change the essence of a whole room whenever she was in it. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Love has no boundaries. While Eileen is no longer physically with us, her spirit is always around us. Those who love us never go away! You toiled so hard for those you loved. You said goodbye to none, Your spirit flew before we knew, Your work on earth was done. We miss you now, our hearts are sore, As time goes by we miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face: No one can fill your vacant place. Your life was love and labor. Your love for your family true. You did the best for all of us. We will always remember you. Arrangements have been entrusted to Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and crematory.
