James Robert Jim Juvan

July 15, 1952 — October 6, 2017

James (Jim) Robert Juvan was born on July 15, 1952, in Livingston, Montana. He was the son of Frank Ignatz Juvan and Gladys R. Schindler. He received his education in Livingston and went to Park Senior High where he graduated in 1970. He married Donna Van Orden in 1972 and had two beautiful children, Miranda and Dustin. He was later divorced in December 1993 and never remarried. He spent most of his life in Livingston, Montana where he resided until his death. Jim was retired at the time of his death but worked on ranches early in his life and later became a delivery driver for Dairy Gold and later for Schwans. He worked in Yellowstone Park, driving heavy equipment before his retirement. Jim was raised on a ranch until he was about 12 and then worked for ranches from the age of 13 in the summer and later in his early twenties. He loved working with the animals and farming. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp and hunt. He enjoyed riding his four wheelers and going to the dunes with his son. He also enjoyed taking his granddaughter shooting with his guns, which he loved to collect. Jim is survived by his two children, Miranda (Robert) Mason of Boise, ID, and Dustin (Ericka) Juvan of Livingston, MT and his grandchildren, Alanis Juvan-Zigler and Arianna Davis of Boise, ID, and Kinsley Juvan of Livingston, MT. He is also survived by his brothers, Benjamin (Shelly) Juvan of Helena, MT, Thomas (Jane) Juvan and Kelly Juvan, both of Livingston, MT and his Sister Sue (Art) Crawford also of Livingston. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Gregor and Mary Schindler and Ignatz and Anna Juvan, his father Frank I Juvan and his mother Gladys A. Juvan. Jim has requested there be no services and has chosen to be cremated.
