Marvin R. Triplett, 79, of Livingston, Montana passed away on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017. A graveside blessing will be held on Sunday, August, 27th, 2:00 P.M. at Mountain View Cemetery, please meet at the cemetery. A pot-luck will follow at the Sacajawea Park Gazebo.

Marvin Rufus Triplett was born June 23, 1938 in the Shields Valley of Montana to Walter Rufus "Jack" and Martha Irene (Esterbrook) Triplett. He passed away peacefully Aug.16, 2017 following a brief battle of cancer.   

His residence was currently at the Frontier Assisted Living in Livingston. Marvin worked for Yellowstone Woodworks for a few years and did lawn care jobs for people he knew around town.  Marvin loved walking around the town of Livingston with a cup of coffee in his hand. He also liked to stop and shoot the breeze with the people in town. Marvin will be remembered for his kind and gentle ways.

Marvin married Irene (Siriano) Lane, June of 1969 and later divorced. Together they had one son, Wayne Anthony Triplett. Later Marvin was remarried to Bell (Busey) Triplett.  

Marvin is survived by his son, Wayne; his wife Tammy Triplett; two beautiful granddaughters, Mattayah and Amariah; sister in-law, Aline Triplett; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Marvin is preceded in death by his wife, Belle Triplett, his parents and his brothers, Everett, Darwin (twin), sister, Virginia Harris and grandson, Kelsey Triplett.

 Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
