Steve Himmelspach, 79, of Livingston, Montana passed away on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at the Livingston HealthCare Hospital. A viewing and gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, July 11th, 4-6 P.M. at the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home, 118 North 3rd St., Livingston. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, July 12th, 10:00 A.M. at Mountain View Cemetery, please meet at the cemetery. Veterans honors will be presented by Park Post #23 American Legion and Sergeant Tommy Ray VFW Post #2154 and active duty Army Honor Guard. Memorials are preferred to: Deer Haven Ranch 3882 US Hwy 89 South, Livingston, MT 59047 or Livingston HealthCare, 320 Alpenglow Ln. Livingston MT 59047. Steve was born on March 1, 1938 in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, the son of Louie and Emelia (Scheetz) Himmelspach. Steve served his county in the United States Army from 1955-1957. Following his service he worked in oil fields, as a plumber with the Chaneys for many years and as a plumber for Yellowstone National Park. Steves true passion in life was his Allis Chalmers tractors, going to auctions and he was devoted to rescuing abandoned pets. Steve lived his life wholeheartedly. He will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife Judy Roy. Son, Steve A. Himmelspach and his wife Cheryl; daughter, Jennifer Himmelspach. Step-children, Sonya (Britt) Schwartzer and Sunny Roy. Grandchildren, Jamie Tuttle, Michael (Allison) Himmelspach, Morgan Rosario, Joshua Himmelspach, Isabella Schwartzer and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Tuttle. Brothers, Alex, Ronnie (Mildred), Billy (Linda) Delbert (Anna), Sisters, Florence Himmelspach and Alice (Jim) Bertch. Sisters-in-law Donna Kraft, Maureen (Michael) Schnobrich, brothers-in-law David (Gail) Juhnke, Matthew (Treva) Juhnke. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Emelia, four sisters, Judy, Mary Ann, Adeline and Frances and a brother, Joe. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
