Marilyn (McCampbell) Plaggemeyer

H. Marilyn (McCampbell) Plaggemeyer, 89, of Livingston, passed away with family by her side on October 20, 2017. Marilyn was born February 1, 1928 in Long Beach, California to parents Bruce and Helen (Abbott) McCampbell. She attended school at the Pleasant View School near Clyde Park, and schools in Bozeman and Livingston. Marilyn met and married the love of her life, Richard Plaggemeyer on August 4, 1950. They were blessed with three children, Steven, Karlene, and Ronald. Marilyn enjoyed camping, rock hounding, crocheting, and reading. She enjoyed her garden and flowers, her church family, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Helen, and a sister, Verna. She is survived by husband, Richard; her sons, Steven of Billings and Ron of Livingston; and daughter Karlene (Dave) Sowell of Livingston; grandchildren, Andrew (Kristi) Lundgren, Erin (Phillip) Bratton, Robert (Katie) Lundgren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, William (Iris) and James (Ellie) and a sister, Norma Laughlin; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 11:00 A.M. at the Livingston Christian Center, 1400 Mount Baldy Dr., Livingston. Burial will follow at Parkview Memorial Gardens in Paradise Valley, and then reception at the Christian Center. Memorials can be made to the Livingston Christian Center Building fund or a charity of your choice in Marilyns name. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
