Phyllis Jane Henderson nee Mason has moved again, but this time to Heaven on October 7, 2018. She passed away as a result of a catastrophic stroke.

Phyllis was born on March 30, 1931 in Livingston, MT to John and Josie Mason.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, her sister Martha, brother Charles, and her two sons Mike & Pat. Phyllis unfortunately lost many significant friends and other people she truly loved along her life’s journey. Phyllis lived an adventurous life to say the least, she enjoyed travelling long distances whenever she got the chance. She loved camping, fishing, river floats, and all the beauties and wildlife of Montana. Phyllis had an infectious smile, beautiful crystal blue eyes, and an incredible sense of humor.  She was always delighted by music throughout her life. She cherished her times listening to live music, dancing the night away, and playing her favorite records. Phyllis experienced a lot of fun times with her friends and family, and always made new friends wherever she went. She quickly became best friends with her favorite bus driver Synja. They shared many fun outings. Phyllis had her own saved seat on the bus, so they could talk and take photos together.

Phyllis will be laid to rest in the Rosebud Cemetery in Absarokee, MT, next to the love of her life, Jim Henderson. Private graveside services will be held. A celebration to share memories of Phyllis will be held in Livingston, MT in the Spring of 2019. Details for the future celebration of her life will be announced in the Livingston Enterprise.
