Desiree Howieson

Desi entered into her eternal peace on August 30, 2021 as the result of a auto accident. We have been blessed with her presence in our lives. In death Desiree has given the gift of sight with the donation of her eyes, which gives us comfort.Desiree was born in Vernal, Utah to Joan (Handlin) and Stephen Smith. The family moved to Livingston, Montana in 1980. Desi has made Park County her home ever since. She graduated from Park High, she was married, blessed with a son, Victor and step-daughter, Ariel. She has worked as a bartender, done massage therapy, and most recently had been working at Cold Smoke Repair. Desi is survived by her son, Victor Howieson; step-daughter, Ariel Howieson; mother, Joan Handlin; father, Stephen Smith; brothers, Josh Smith and Justin Smith; many dear friends and other family members.Memorials are preferred to Stafford Animal Shelter 3 Business Park Rd, Livingston, MT 59047 and United in Light (Draft Horse Sanctuary) 101 Billman Ln, Livingston, MT 59047. A celebration of Desi's life will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at the Shane Lalani Center. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
