Audrey (Lemon) Markman

June 10, 1921 — April 17, 2014

Audrey Markman, 92, of Livingston, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 17, 2014 at her home with loved ones by her side. A Celebration of Audreys life will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, April 22, at the Franzen-Davis Chapel. A viewing will be held 3-6 PM, Monday, April 21, also at Franzen-Davis. Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will follow the funeral at The Livingston Christian Center (1400 Mount Baldy Drive). Memorials preferred to: The American Cancer Society PO Box 22718; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123. Audrey was born on June 10, 1921 in Wilsall, Montana. She was the daughter of Ira and Minnie (McGaugh) Lemon. Audrey received her education in Wilsall and was a graduate of the Wilsall High School. On June 17, 1939, Audrey was united in marriage to Robert "Bud" Bailey. This marriage was blessed with a daughter, Roberta. Later in life she was wed to Otto J. Markman on December, 26, 1946. Audrey resided in the Shields Valley near Wilsall until she met Otto and they moved to a ranch in Paradise Valley. They later moved to Livingston where Audrey and Otto operated a backhoe excavation business together. They worked for many area familys both up the Shields Valley and down in Paradise Valley. Audrey and Otto were quite the pair; if you saw one the other was not far away. They both knew the value of hard work done the right way. She was a hardworking woman on the ranch and a hardworking mother. Audrey enjoyed her life. She was not a woman of many hobbies because you could usually find her with a list of work that need to be done. She cared deeply about her neighbors, friends and loved ones. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Blessed be her memory. Audrey is survived by her: Daughter, Roberta Crane of Clyde, Texas. Four Grandchildren, Deborah Hinton and her husband Tommy, Regina Partida, Marquette Sneed and Ron Crane. Eight Great Grandchildren, Tommy, Eric, Emmitte, Alexandra, Ethan, Houston, Haley and Harmony. Caregivers and dear friends, Lorrie Adams, Anna Paterson, Theresa Livermore and Karen Duncan. Numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Audrey is preceded in death by her: Parents, Ira and Minnie Lemon. Husbands, Robert Bailey and Otto Markman. Grandson, Jeff Crane. Two brothers, Milard and Art Lemon. Two sisters, Orolee Ford and Dola Baker. Arrangements are under the direction of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
