Cheryl Lynn Adams

June 24, 1960 — June 15, 2018

Cheryl Lynn Adams passed away on June 15, 2018, and joined her birth father, Walter Adams, who died many years before her. She was born on June 24, 1960 in Livingston, Montana. After graduating from Park Senior High School in 1978, she moved to Michigan and earned an associates degree in business from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. While in Michigan, she worked as the Operations and Field Project Assistant and later as the Executive Assistant for Terra Contracting Services, an environmental remediation company. Cheryl was passionate about environmental reclamation and took pride in her efforts to make the world a better place. Cheryl found joy in art she loved painting and planned to develop her watercolor skills. She strove for perfection in all her hobbies, which included knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and interior decor. Cheryl was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loved to garden, fish, visit Yellowstone National Park, and watch hummingbirds dart around their sugar-water feeders. She navigated the aisles of hardware stores with an uncommon confidence; no home improvement project or repair intimidated her. Cheryl loved spending time with her sons in Michigan and her family in Montana. She moved back to her home state in May 2017. Cheryl is survived by her father and mother, Charlie and Joene Rahn; her siblings, Kevin Adams (California) and Sandy Rahn-Gibson; her sons, Curtis and Chris Crabtree (Michigan); and her niece and nephew, Meghan and Shane Gibson. And finally, Cheryl leaves behind her beloved dachshund, Charlie. A memorial funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22nd , 11:00 A.M. at the Livingston Christian Center (1400 Mount Baldy Drive, Livingston) Duane Huie will officiate, and a reception will directly follow the service. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Stafford Animal Shelter or to the Livingston HealthCare Foundation. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
