Dolores Mae (Tecca) Van Orden, age 86 of Livingston, currently residing in Hardin with her daughter. She died December 10, 2019 in Hardin, Montana. Dolores was born on November 24, 1933 in Livingston, Montana to Guy and Rose Tecca. She attended school in Livingston and graduated from Park High School in 1951. She married her childhood sweetheart, the love of her life, Velferd Lee Van Orden on April 11, 1953 at St. Marys Catholic Church. Their love brought two wonderful children into the world, Debra (Larry) Johnson and Timothy Van Orden. Dolores calling in life was raising her children, doting over her loving husband and.cleaning her house! Her home was truly her castle. She was meticulous and its been said, eating off her floor was cleaner than some peoples plates. Throughout her life Dolores worked at the Blair Motor Company and St. Marys Catholic church as a bookkeeper and as a Welcome Wagon HostessDolores loved the Lord and throughout her life she was his devoted and faithful servant. She was active in St. Marys Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas where she served in the capacity of Regent for two years. She was also a member of Chapter AP PEO in Livingston, and Chapter L in Hardin, and their book club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home, playing bridge, and spending time with her grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. To say she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, is an understatement.On Dolores last day on earth, she got all dolled up. She painted her face and adorned her signature "bling." She played bridge with her loving daughter and took the second highest score. She lived her best life.She is survived by her two children and her sister Gilda Pollock. Grandchildren, Bethany (Chris) Fuchs, Aaron (Veronica) Johnson, Sarah (Jon) Snodgrass and Jennifer (Brandon) Schaff. Great grandchildren, Katelyn and Lucy Fuchs; Isabella, Cru, Trevin and Paxton Johnson; Lilly Schaff and Nora Snodgrass and numerous nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Thomas Tecca and sister, Juanita Wilson.WE WILL MISS YOU MOM!Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church in Livingston on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:30 am, burial will follow Mass at the Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary and Vigil service will be held on Friday, December 13th at 5:00 pm also at St. Marys
