Donald T. Head, 92 passed away on July 16, 2025 in Eufaula, Oklahoma with his loving wife Faye by his side.
Donald was born on August 23, 1932 in Unicol, Tennessee to the late Hebert and Sarah Katherine (Bennett) Head. Donald was the youngest of seven children. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict being honorably discharged in the late 50’s. It was then he decided Livingston, Montana was going to be his home. It was there he began a career with Burlington Northern Railroad as a shop foreman. During this time, he continued to serve his country in the Navy Reserves. Don retired from the railroad in the mid 80’s.
Don loved to hunt, fish and do anything that meant him being outdoors.
Survivor’s include his wife of over 25 years, Faye Head of Eufaulla, OK; his daughter: Diane (Gary) Flack, of Laurel, MT; his four sons, Darrell Head, Kevin Head and Kenneth, all of Livingston, MT, and Kelly (Rita) Head, of Mississippi. He is further survived by several grand and several great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Donald was also preceded in death by his son, Donald Head; and his six brothers and sisters.
Graveside military honors will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. View Cemetery in Livingston.
