The family lived in the Huntley Project north of Billings. Some of her most fond childhood memories were listening to her dad and his brother, John play their music; she also loved playing by the Yellowstone River. Donna graduated high school from the Huntley Project in 1956. She had met a nice man, Sherman Crandall, who was a brother of her friend Betty Crandall, they would fall in love and were married on Sept. 1, 1956. They began their life traveling the west; they went where Sherman was assigned work. The family relocated many times throughout Shermans pastoring. The Church of the Nazarene brought the family to Livingston in 1978. Donna and Sherman served the church and the Park County community for 17 years. Sherman died suddenly of an aneurysm in 1994.Donna again found friendship with Duwain Miller, they wed in 2004. For a few years they lived on the Shields River Road East before moving into town. Duwain died in June of 2010.Donna found her role once again, she became a full-time grandma. She always had a special place in her heart for her grand kids. She has always had a warm and loving spirit but was a talented woman as well, she played the piano for her husbands churches, and she loved music, she also was artistic, she painted beautiful oil paintings that we are now bargaining for as remembrances. Donna was meticulous in her housekeeping, she was always tidy and reminded you if you put an item not exactly in its place. Her faith in Christ assures us that we will once again see each other in Heaven. She had a dedication to her family and faith that gave us the roots to become who we are. Peace be with you always, mom.Donna is survived by: her children, Faith Shepherd and her husband David of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joni Peacher of Maine, Crystal Crandall of Helena, Laurie Frederick of Livingston, Fred Crandall of Las Vegas, NV, David (Teresa) Crandall of Livingston; grandchildren, Nathan (Audree) Keller, Tiffany (Tommy) DeWitt, Cheri Frederick, Rachelle Frederick, Sam Frederick Jr., Megan Frederick-Hiser (Don), Brianne (David) Brown, Marlaina (Ricky) Knudson, Keionna Frederick, Jack Iceman; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Jacob, Micah, and Abigail DeWitt, Reagan, Rhett, and Oliver Keller, Jack Jones, Gabriel, Jolie, and Christian Hiser; siblings, Dora (Brad) Knapp of Billings, Sherry Mills of Riverton, WY, Lollie (Rollie) Graber of Sidney and sister-in-law, Sandy Schneider of Billings; nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Virginia Schneider; husbands, Sherman Crandall, and Duwain Miller; son, Timothy Crandall; granddaughter, Heather Frederick; and brother, David Schneider.Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
