Eula Lee Chapel, 88 of Bozeman, MT, passed away at Livingston Health and Rehab Center on July 22, 2026.
Eula was born on November 24, 1937 in Chattanooga, TN to Elbert and Ruby Colburn. She had two sisters, Reba and Tamsey and one brother Gene.
Eula married Leo C. Chapel. They lived in several cities around the U.S. and in Germany, finally settling in Montana. Eula worked for many years as a Nurse’s aid and a Housekeeper. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and always helping others. She loved crocheting, watching wrestling, feeding the birds, walking by the river searching for rocks and being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Chapel, her son, David, siblings, Reba and Gene and many of her beloved pets.
Eula is survived by her son, Leo Todd (Tori) Chapel, grandchildren, Drew (Juanita) Chapel, Anna Chapel and Lynn Chapel all of Mead, WA; great-grandchildren, Axel Heller and Stella Kinnison, sister, Tamsey Sneed White of TN; nieces, Cindi Wilkins, Tabitha Rupert, Brittney Rupert and nephew, Justin Wilkins.
Services will be held at a later date.
Eula had a love for all animals. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
