Helena Hauser was born October 5, 1941 in Hollywood, California to parents Dwight and Geraldine Hauser. She was the eldest of four siblings Marcia, Gerald and Erich Hauser. They were all raised at Lake Sherwood, California with an idyllic childhood.
Upon her father's early demise in 1969 she stayed with her mother as a companion and in later years as her sole caregiver. They relocated to Montana in the 1980's to be near family.
Despite her tiny frame Helena was a vocal participant in all things political and was a staunch supporter of Women's Rights, Human Rights, and all things embracing equality. She will be remembered fondly by her friend Cynthia Hills who regarded her as her "big sis" and is survived by her sister Marcia Crawford, her nieces and nephews Kevin Toll, Ashley Toll-Kayser, Bright Hauser, Cole Hauser, Harmony Crawford, Flight Crawford, and will be lovingly remembered by numerous great nieces and nephews who she spent countless hours with taking them for ice cream or candy cigarettes from Ben Franklins.
At Helena's request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers or cards please consider a donation to the Stafford Animal Shelter, 3 Business Park Rd., Livingston, MT 59047.
