Jeffrey Scott Sarrazin was born on March 9, 1969, in Livingston, Montana, to Thomas and Terry Sarrazin. His father, Tom, was serving in Vietnam with the U.S. Military at the time of Jeff's birth.
Jeff passed away on July 19, 2026, at Bozeman Health due to complications following surgery. Jeff grew up in Clyde Park and graduated from Clyde Park High School in 1987.
He married Renae Loftice, and together they had two children, Josephine (Josie) and Wyatt. After their divorce, Jeff later married Denise Hamlet, and they welcomed one daughter, Megan. They also later divorced. In time, Jeff reconnected with Carla Williams, bringing renewed companionship into his life.
In the early 1990s, Jeff ran Wilsall Hardware before working various other jobs. In March 2001, he began his career with Sibanye Stillwater Mine, where he had recently celebrated 25 years of dedicated service.
Jeff enjoyed riding his Harley and was a proud member of the American Legion Riders. He owned and operated his BBQ business, Sarrazin's Grill, creating many memorable smoked meats enjoyed by friends and community members. He was always willing to help his parents at their homestead and assisted every hunting season with cutting and processing wild game at Sarrazin's Meat.
Jeff was deeply involved in his community. He served with both the Clyde Park City and Clyde Park Rural Fire Departments, was President of the Shields Valley Old Settlers, and was a former member of the Livingston Roundup Rodeo.
Jeff is survived by Carla; his parents, Tom and Terry Sarrazin; brother Justin (Heather) Sarrazin; and sister, Jodi Sarrazin; his children, Josie (Craig) Brainard, Wyatt Sarrazin, and Megan Sarrazin (Daniel Chambers) and stepson, Ryan Gallentine.
