On February 6, 1965 John and Margaret (Brommenschenkel) were wed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Ada, MN. They resided in Ada, MN operating their dairy farm and showing horses. In 1987 he and Marge moved to Livingston where they lived on the Reber Ranch up Fleshman Creek where they raised cattle and Quarter horses. John absolutely loved living in Montana and his friends found along his journey. He was a master of repairing anything, big or small. He enjoyed big game hunting with the Minnesota boys. He took pride in his Quarter horses, especially Mr Baron Boy. ‘Red’ qualified in Team Roping for the Quarter Horse World Show held in Oklahoma City. That was a special moment that he would tell stories about over and over. John and Marge shared 56 years in a loving and caring marriage.
