Larry Edward Stilley, age 76, of Livingston, Montana passed away on March 15, 2020 at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City. Larry had a severe stroke that he had been struggling from and was transported to Salt Lake for medical care. Per his wishes a formal funeral will not be held.Larry was born on January 23, 1944 in Martinez, California to Al and Evelyn (Taylor) Stilley. He was a graduate of the Martinez High School; following graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. He was inducted on January 10, 1968 and served during the Viet Nam War. He served on the front lines with the 101st Airborne Division, the "Screaming Eagles." During his deployment he was awarded a Silver Star and three purple hearts. He was honorably discharged on January 9th, 1974.Larry returned to Martinez where he took work with the city of Martinez. He worked his way up to Maintenance Supervisor over his 42-year long career. On May 15, 2004 he married Diana Jean Hiller. They operated the College Lane Bar in Martinez until Larrys retirement from the city. They relocated to Livingston to care for Dianas mom. Their marriage brought three children into Larrys life, whom he loved very deeply. He was a stand-up guy in all ways and was a blessing to Dianas children.Larry is survived by his wife, Diana Stilley of Livingston; children, Melissa Rodriguez, Chad (Zeta) Scollard and Charlie Love, as well as, nine grandchildren, his brother, Don (Alva) Stilley and many nieces and nephews.Burial of Larrys cremated remains will be at the Mayn Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
