Lilli Michelle Auger

October 30, 2001 — April 30, 2018

Lilli Michelle Auger, 16, of Wilsall, MT passed away on Monday, April, 30, 2018 from injuries sustained in an auto accident while on her way to work following school. A celebration of Lillis life and spirit will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 5th, in the gymnasium at the Shields Valley High School, Clyde Park. A potluck reception will follow at the school.Lilli was born on the 30th of October, 2001 in Gardner, Massachusetts the daughter of Nadine (Gallant) Auger and Bruce Auger. When Lilli was age four the family decided to relocate to Wilsall, Montana. The natural beauty and small town way of life is what brought them to their new home.Lilli was born with the gift of a tender heart. She had a natural empathy that she has carried all her life. She was so concerned with how others may be feeling she would put herself aside, always wanting to do anything she could to make everyone happy. She had a beautiful and creative spirit. She would look at the little things in life and see so much wonder, a rock or leaf in the shape of a heart or the freckles on a birds egg, she knew were Gods artwork. Many of the lovely rocks she found were brought home; a rock garden was in order to be able to display her findings which she built with her parents help. She had always had a special place in her heart for her "love rocks", rocks in the shape of hearts, she had gathered all that she had found to cover her pet dog Gingers grave with. She had spent many days with Bruce helping with the Farrier business which both of them so enjoyed. She had a love and kindheartedness with animals, and their love shown to her, made her glow.Lilli had grown from a timid and shy girl into such a lovely and kind young woman. She had become independent, not wanting her parents to have to supply her with clothing or a car; she went to work at the Wilsall General Store. She loved her family so, and looked up to and admired her siblings, Justin and Ashley.Lilli attended Shields Valley Elementary in Wilsall and was as a sophomore at the Shields Valley High School in Clyde Park. She had been active in the FFA, and had played volleyball and basketball. Her presence will be forever missed and remembered by her family, her classmates, the people at the store and those she met while helping her dad with their horses. She is such a bright, shining star that will be sorely missed.Lilli is survived by her mother, Nadine Auger, her father, Bruce Auger; siblings, Justin Auger and his fiance, Laurie Hogemark, and Ashley Auger. Maternal grandparents, Paul and Dolores Gallant; paternal grandparents, Ed (Mary) Auger and Maureen Bell. Uncles and aunt, Wess (Kara) Gallant, David (Memory) Auger and Emily Santora. As well as cousins, other relatives and friends.Memorials are preferred to the Lilli Auger Memorial Fund, at the Bank of the Rockies, PO Box 2, Clyde Park, MT 59018, our family so appreciates your support.Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
