Paul R Huntley

Paul R. Huntley went to be with his Heavenly Father on Feb. 24, 2022 with his loving family at his side, in Hospice, at home where he wished to be.Paul was born on July 1, 1951 to Charles Cyrus Huntley and Joy Elaine (Hudson) Huntley. He had seven siblings, Richard, Lauretta, Carol, Cora, Shirley, JoEllen and Jimmy (deceased). One brother and five sisters survive him.He was born in Grayling, Michigan. He graduated from St. Johns High School in St. Johns, Michigan.He lived in Livingston for the past 12 years, having moved to Livingston from Michigan in 2009. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and was confirmed in the Catholic Church when he married the love of his life, his "Soakmate" on June 10, 1995 at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church in Spokane, Washington.He loved hunting, fishing ("fish would tremble at the sound of his name!"), the outdoors, and hanging out with family and friends in his shop. He served in the military and served bravely in Vietnam for six years.He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Everyone love and respected him.He worked at Chappell's Body Shop for two and a half years, The Livingston Enterprise, and had his own small engine repair business with his son, Jesse. He cut and sold firewood. He also owned Inside Out Construction for over 20 years. He specialized in finish carpentry, renovation and remodeling. He wore many hats!He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Joy Huntley; brother Jimmy; his aunt and uncle Barb and Jesse Sale (Barb was his mother's sister); and his father-in-law, Leo Aspenleiter of Spokane, Washington.He leaves behind his wife, Barb, of almost 27 years; his son Jesse R. Huntley and wife Janie of Livingston; his daughter Sarah E. Sanderson and husband Jeff Sanderson of Lansing, Michigan; grandsons Antonio Rosalez of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Michael and Daniel Sanderson of Lansing, Michigan; brothers-in-law Rich and Tim Aspenleiter; sister-in-law Laurie Ward; and mother-in-law Margaret Aspenleiter, all of Spokane, Washington.If I've forgotten anyone, please forgive us. A memorial will be held later this summer. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
