Pete Edwin Bigner, 80, of Livingston, Montana, passed away on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at his sons home with his loving family by his side. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 14, 10 AM at his son, Sidneys home, 511 Garnier Ave., Livingston, also, a memorial will be held in the summer at Pueblo, Colorado.Pete was born on December 16, 1937 in Hawk Springs, WY. He was the third son of Peter and Evelyn (Helzer) Bigner. Pete spent his early days in Wyoming then moving to Pueblo, Colorado. It was there that he met and married Ina Mae (Batson) and to that union, they were blessed with four children, Syrena, Sidney, Peter and Penny.As Pete made a living as an auto mechanic he followed the work, moving from Pueblo and Florence, Colorado to Cheyenne, Wyoming; his family followed too.Pete was a hard worker and a great mechanic. He loved to share his knowledge with his sons. He helped the kids, serving as their scout leader and taking the family camping.Pete loved to get out in the wilderness camping. He would do so every chance he had. He also liked to hunt and fish and got into demolition derby for a time. He took a trip to Las Vegas with Peter and he loved the action, the lights and the slot machines too.Pete had come to Livingston following his family, to be close to grandchildren, whom he loved so dearly, and to be close to water and the mountains.He is survived by: his children, daughter, Syrena (Brad) Edmonds of Florida, and their children, Bradley and Adam; son, Sidney (Pauline) Bigner of Livingston, MT and their children, Joshua and Christal; son, Peter Bigner of Livingston, MT, and daughter, Penny (John) Dominguez of Rio Rancho, NM and their son Zachary. Siblings, brother, Robert Bigner and sister, Phyllis (Jon) McDonald both of Pueblo, CO. Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Pete was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Donald.
