Peter Mario Naclerio “Pete” died at his home in Emigrant, Montana on August 10, 2025. He was 79 years old.
Pete was born on January 18, 1946 to Peter Francis and Marie (Schwarze) Naclerio, while they were vacationing in Springfield, Massachusetts. His birth was a complete surprise since his mother thought she had a tumor like her sister-in-law. After years of desperately wanting a child his birth was a wonderful surprise! Pete grew up in Woodbridge, New Jersey then lived in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania for many years. He then moved to Montana which was his dream.
Pete married Janet Beshak on October 21, 1972. They were blessed with twin daughters, Nicole and Kimberly, along with two grandchildren, Mirabai and Valentino. They are currently living in Italy.
Pete was a long time locomotive engineer working for Penn Central, which eventually became Conrail and Norfolk Southern. He was a man of many interests, including fishing, fly tying, hunting and horsemanship.
The family wants to thank Dr. Justin Thomas and the Bozeman Health Cancer Center, Enhabit Hospice and the Paradise Valley Firefighters Association.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home. A reception will immediately follow with light refreshments.
