Richard Duane Johnson

Richard (Dick) Duane Johnson, 80 of Livingston, MT passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Livingston. Dick was born in Sidney, MT on July 13, 1942 to Harvey and Mary Johnson. Dick was joined by his brother, Mike, and sisters, Peggy and Patty.  The Johnson family lived on a farm southwest of Sidney until 1961, then moved to a farm in Terry, MT. Dick married Sandra Horning in June, 1966. They owned and operated the Conoco gas station in Terry. Dick and Sandy had a son, Daniel who passed at 6 months. Then son, Brett was born in 1971 and the family moved to Livingston, MT. In March 2001 Dick lost his lifelong partner Sandy. Shortly after his retirement, Dick had an accident and was severely injured, he then spent the remainder of his life in several assisted living facilities. Dick is survived by his son Brett and wife Angie. Grandson, Cole and granddaughter, Alex of Livingston. He is also survived by his brother, Mike ( Judy ) of Chinook, MT. Sisters, Peggy ( Larry ) Maier of Lewistown; Patty ( Mark ) Trask of Terry, MT, and several nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Johnson, infant son Daniel, and his wife Sandy. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00P.M. at the chapel of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home with a reception to follow at the Legion.
