Sandra K Downer

Sandra K. Larson, 74, died Jan. 22, 2024, at her home in Clyde Park, Montana. 

 Sandy was born May 7, 1949, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Edwin and Vivian (Miller) Larson.

Those who knew Sandy, knew she loved her husband, Glenn; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and her pets more than anything else. Her whole life, she absolutely loved caring for and nurturing animals. At just eleven years old, she was skidding logs with her own team of horses, working hard to keep them full and happy. Hard work was something Sandy rarely shied away from. 

We will always keep fond memories of her “lambies” she would bring into the house, sporting diapers and drinking out of baby bottles. We will always keep her laugh, her hugs and her resilient spirit in our hearts. She will be missed dearly. 

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian; father, Edwin; brothers, Virgil and Gerald; sister, Dianne; and nieces, Pamela and Debbie. 

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Downer; son, James Marsh Jr.; daughter, Wendy (Tyson) Wood; grandchildren, Katlin Marsh, Tyler (Kristin) Marsh, and Shelbie (Andrew) Gresham- Wood; and great-grandchildren, Kali, Jonathan and Landon Marsh.
