Virginia "Jeanne" Indendi

Virginia "Jeanne" lndendi passed peacefully at home on August 8th, 2026. Gently lifted to heaven with grace and dignity.

Jeanne was born September 14, 1933 in Illinois. Proud daughter of Ukranian immigrants, Stephan & Franny, who journeyed to America over a century ago and made it their home. Mom's idyllic childhood was filled with big gardens, fruit trees, fresh goat milk, warm bread and family love giving her a strong start and decades of good health.

Her spirited nature led her to San Diego CA in the early 1950's joining the Navy as a Wave specializing in communications. There she met George, a handsome Navy sailor also stationed in San Diego. They quickly fell in love and have made their home and life together for 73 years. They have shared decades of making memories together, enjoying life in Montana and beyond. Self employment and hard work made them a strong couple blessed with good health and a life well lived.

Mom leaves behind her prayers for peace and grace. She is survived by George, her loving husband, daughter Lori and her husband John, Daniel and his daughter Sage, Michael and his wife Lauren, and countless friends over the years.

"God Bless" Virginia Jeanne lndendi: loving wife, mother, grandmother and helpful friend to many. Mom will always be remembered for her kindness, her creativity and her strength.

Heaven has added another beautiful flower in the garden of life.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
