William Carrol Bill Cossins

William Carrol "Bill" Cossins, 69, of Livingston, Montana, formerly of Oroville, California passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Livingston HealthCare Hospital. A Remembrance Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 5, at the Sacajawea Park Gazebo. A picnic reception will follow the service. Bill was born on January 12, 1948, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He was the son of Robert and Mary Faye (Green) Cossins. He received his education in Englewood, CO and was a graduate of the Sheridan High School Class of 1966. Bill continued his education taking college courses. After a year he joined the U.S. Navy Bill entered active military service on March 5, 1967, and served his country during the Vietnam War. He served several tours in Vietnam stationed out of the Moffett Field in California. He received an Honorable Discharge on September 2, 1971. While home on leave Bill was married to the love of his life, Janet Joyner on June 14, 1969. This marriage was blessed with 3 sons, Will, Eric, and Robin. He worked for his father-in-law Henry "Bud" Joyner at his company Peninsula Sandblasting, In 1981 Bill changed vocations to Electronics. He enjoyed Fishing, gardening, collecting coins, gold dredging and he loved the great outdoors. More than any other thing, he loved his family; he let them know they came first and foremost. He recently had relocated to Livingston, Montana to be near their children. Bill was a man of quiet strength; we love you and will miss you like crazy. Bill is survived by his: wife of 48 years Janet Cossins, sons, Will & wife Lauranna Cossins, Eric Cossins and his fiance Jen Fiedler and Robin Cossins and his fiance Yvonne Garcia. Grandchildren, Austin, Breeana, Mitchel, Korben, Logan, Tayler, Lori Anne, Riley, Melanie, Emilee, Kaden, Ayden; great-granddaughter, Evany and another great granddaughter great on the way. Siblings, Ira Cossins, Gary (Lynette) Dishroom, Judy (Dennis) Murray, Barbara Cossins, Douglas Cossins, Carolyn Cossins. Brothers in law Ray (Shirley) Joyner, & Gary (Deborah) Joyner and Nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his biological parents, Robert and Mary, & nurturing mother Wilma, brother Tim Cossins, daughter-in-law Amber (Baker) Cossins, brothers in law Henry & Randy Joyner & sister in law Melody Joyner, and mother & father in law Irene & Henry "Bud" Joyner. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
