He was a dedicated worker serving as a materials clerk for most his career. While Henry was visiting relatives in Virginia, he was introduced to a lovely lady with five lovely daughters. Love was in the air that day After meeting in July of 1970, and a short, long-distance courtship, Margaret and the girls traveled to Livingston to see what they thought of it here. In 1988 they returned to Livingston when Henry retired.Henry did not care for sitting around so in retirement he worked at several fuel stations and then for Northern Energy Propane. He, Margaret and the family enjoyed many trips back to Virginia every year to visit family. They would always take a different route, to see as much of the United States as they could. Henry appreciated music, especially bluegrass. Henry played guitar and would get-together with his crew every week and sometimes play into the early morning. He loved to take the family camping in the old school bus, taking trips to the Park and going square dancing with Margaret.Henry was a one of a kind, gentle man. He was caring and kind, just loved everyone he met. He wanted for others to be happy and was very much go with the flow.
