James Gerald “Jerry” Testa, passed away in Livingston, MT Wednesday August 3, 2022.

Jerry was born in Tampa, Florida on October 31, 1944. He is the son of Ann and Carmine Testa. He was raised by his loving grandparents, Mary and Joseph Julian in Tampa, FL.

Jerry was drafted into the Army in 1967 and stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington State. He served his country until 1973 when he was honorably discharged. He met Sandra Lee Bain in Seattle, and they married on March 2, 1968, and started their adventure together. They have two daughters, Theresa and Kimberly. They decided to make their home in Black Diamond, WA where they lived until 2013.

Jerry worked for Boeing Aerospace Co. in Seattle as a machinist and retired in 2009. He worked with them for over 20 years. Prior to working for Boeing, he worked for Western Electric for 15 years. Their adventure continued when they lived briefly in Scottsdale, AZ and then Livingston, MT, where both daughters reside.

Jerry loved spending time with his family, friends, and his blind chihuahua Ray, as well as his grand-dogs, Piper and Rosie. Jerry especially enjoyed baking a variety of cookies to share with all, a hobby he took up after retirement. He was also an avid gardener for most of his life. He had an incredible green thumb, which was evident by the flowers surrounding their home.

Jerry was quite fond of his daily de-caf from Paradise Perk here in Livingston. He left us with a stamped coffee card in his pocket entitling him to a free coffee which always brought him joy.

Jerry will be remembered by his family and friends as a genuinely kindhearted and caring man who was always ready to help others in any way he could. We will remember him as a tender, loving husband and as the best girl-dad anyone could ask for. His love for nature and animals was a gift he passed on to his daughters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Testa; daughters, Kimberly Testa, Theresa (Mike) Duffy; and numerous cousins from his birth state of Florida.

Interment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery in Washington State in Spring 2023. For those wishing to give a remembrance, please send a donation to Stafford Animal Shelter.
Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
