Mary Elizabeth Fleming

June 13, 1927 — October 18, 2020

Mary Beth Fleming, affectionately known by her close friends and family as Hon, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020. Mary Beth was born June 13, 1927 in Livingston Montana to Edward and Estelle Fleming. She graduated from Park High School and went on to earn her Bachelors Degree from Stanford University. She spent her post college years in San Francisco with her sisters, but ultimately returned to Livingston. She worked for the Park Clinic for over 30 years, many of which were spent at the Mammoth Clinic in Yellowstone Park with her dear friends Dr. Mac Baskett and Dr. Tom Clemmons. She was a skiing enthusiast into her 70s, piloted her own plane for years, and was an esteemed bowler with the Livingston City League. She enjoyed traveling but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary Beth was known to her family as the best ever Yellowstone tour guide and never missed a trip to the Park. She loved spending summer days at the family cabin in Paradise Valley and never missed cocktail hour. Mary Beth will be dearly missed by her sister, Katharine, of Billings, nieces and nephews (Aimee & Michael Nunn, Andrea & Steve Crowley, Stephanie & Ray Roberts, Elizabeth Calanchini, Henry & Fumiko Calanchini, Anne & Mark Miller, Maria Calanchini, Elise & Kevin Mirsky, Chiara Calanchini, Michaela & Kent Carter, Matthew Calanchini) and numerous grand nieces and nephews. Mary Beth was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Calanchini, by just one week. A family celebration will take place summer 2021 to celebrate the lives of both amazing ladies. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
