Dear Virginia and family,
So very sorry to learn of the untimely death of your husband. Although we've lived across the street from each other for years we rarely see each other and I'm sorry now that I didn't get to know Buzz better. Please accept my very heartfelt condolences and if I can ever be of assistance please do not hesitate to ask.

Sorry to learn that Buzz has passed.  His friendliness and pleasant manner always seemed to brighten any situation.

I will always have fond memories of that 25-below-zero day in early 1997 I was fortunate to spend surveying on snowmobiles with Buzz and Virginia a little north of Avon, Montana.

Virginia and family.
Notification of Buzz's passing took by complete surprise. I was aware of his battle and was reminded of it by a mutual friend of yours I had met while taking chemo in Helena for my own issue, pretty much under control, thank heavens. My heartfelt sympothy goes out to you Virginia. We've know you and Buzz for quite a long time now in the land surveying profession. I have admired your tenacity and work ethics, and know that Buzz was such a great part of your life, personal and business.
My prayers are with you and I do hope to see you again in the future.

Virginia and family,
So sorry to hear about Buzz' passing. Although we only met a few times, out in the field or in the Clerk and Recorder's Buzz was always friendly as can be and conversation with him came easy. I am sure he was the greatest Rodman! I am sure I speak for the rest of the survey community in expressing our condolences to you.  George

I only met Buzz once at last year's MARLS conference, but fortunately got to spend a fair amount of time with him as he helped sell rigle raffle tickets, in fact, he was by far our biggest seller!  I feel fortunate to have met him and am sorry for your loss Virginia.

Virginia and Buzz's family,
When Buzz and I met, it was the love of the outdoors that fostered a near-immediate bond.  Whether it was on a big game hunt, a pheasant hunt or otherwise, we always had plenty of our own adventures to re-hash.  Buzz was always a treat to be around and I will miss him dearly.

My most sincere sympathies to you, Virginia, and all of Buzz's family.

Virginia and family,

Very Sorry to hear about you loss.  Buzz was instrumental in several projects in my life.  While we attended college and roomed together we went and interviewed for a job at the 63 Ranch in Livingston as wranglers for their guests.  The interview took place at the Hiatt House Bar. Buzz didn't take the job, but I did.  It was a fun five years for me-thanks Buzz!!

In 1980 when Buzz was a representative for Browning Firearms we put together a Montana Game Warden gun package of Browning firearms.  Each was engraved with the wardens badge, badge number, and Montana State Game Warden on them.  The set included a citori shotgun, single shot rifle, 9mm pistol and a hunting knife, all engraved-Thanks Buzz!!!!

It was a pleasure and a fun time knowing and doing things with you.  It was one heck of a trip!!!  I will miss seeing you in Livingston.
